Nice photo! I only wish i could spend some time on that river! I like the white tips on the rapids, contrasts the dark water well.

They are tidal rapids. I was amazed at how much power seem to come from the changing tides. It was so odd to look one hour and see absolutly calm water and then look back the next and see these large rapids.
