The nite was beautiful except for the mosquitos. I got bit 5 times trying to stay still for this shot. Hope you guys like it. :)

Well worth the torture, 'cause this turned out great! A good one for Halloween I'd expect. Nicely done with the lighting and detail in the clouds.

Next time get ya a tripod with a timer; while the timer is counting down and the shot exposing, run around madly to keep those skeeters at bay! :P Very very nice lunar shot. The clouds make it worthwhile!! A good 9 or 10 in the VB.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
I think it was worth it! I'm not usually a fan of shots of sky and nothing else, but this one works. It's very dramatic and atmospheric - makes me think of werewolves. Maybe it's lucky the mosquitos were the only things biting that night ;-)
