Can someone tell me what kind of flower this is? Is it part of the daisy family? Thanks for stopping by and looking. :-)

It's Beautifulus Orientalis.

Just joking; I'm no gardener and all I know is the colors are awesome, especially the way the blend, and the bright flower against the dark background to show it off is just right. I HAVE to download it, with a sigh, to my already-too-large flower collection.

I can't help you with the exact name either, but I love those vibrant colors. A crisp & clear shot ... nicely composed. Very beautiful ... well done.

Yep, I'll have to agree on the comments about the colors and the gradation from light to dark. This flower is so colorful, it almost doesn't look real. Clevor of the Creator. Good work.

OOps! Should be "Aristata" - need new glasses? lol. Not Gerbera - they are from Africa -sorry to differ with Dante!

This is a beautiful flower Linda no matter what the name of it is. The colors are very unusual on it. I like how you've captured the beauty of it also.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unawares
