This was taken in Dragoon across from my last post "Stone Tired" Actually I was standing on the Stone Tired rocks when I shot this. I think I was wrong about it being in Arizona, it might be in New Mexico. The manips are minor but it's one of my first attempts. Hope you enjoy!

This is really awsome to see this beautiful purple tree in the middle of the rocks and sand. It stand out like a sore thumb, but delightful... Great Job!

Yup - I was really drawn to this image! The nicely composed desert scenery evokes some old movie stereotype memories (Treasure of Sierra Madre) - but boy does that purple tree and full moon in broad daylight start bending kinks in the old associations with that kind of landscape. Nice job!

I love this, the colour is amazing in the very neutral landscape. Straight to my favourites. I think the manipulation is really good. well done!

The moon is a touch of genius with this manip....I really love what you've done with this upload. It's in my faves on my hard drive, and I can't wait to get it in the voting booth, my friend.

Hey again - this is pretty darn good! If it's anywhere near Dragoon, it is in Arizona, about 60 miles W of New Mexico line (looks like in the Texas Canyon area). Looks like a poster or a calendar to me!?

Starting with a great picture, you added just the right touches to make it really interesting. That lavender mesquite is surreal!
