My first upload of a shot taken with my new Nikon, which is also my first SLR camera. I'd like to say please forgive my lack of comments to you all recently, I just had a lot going on and plus I had no camera for a while. ~Then trying to learn how to use this one, well, I think I'm kinda getting the hang of it :) This is a Spiraea ~aka Bridal Wreath bursting into bloom in my front yard. The individual flowers are about 1/4 inch wide and the clusters almost 2 inches. Thanks for any comments and feedback :) I hope you like it, Happy Easter!

That is a beautiful flower and I would say you are doing very well with your new SLR. If its not to much trouble put a comment in ( Camera Type )about your new camera. Great Shot.

"Soft White" nails it Lisa. White in strong light and shadow is never easy to balance, but it is here.
