Hi Linda. Two suggestions, a closer crop so he is not quite so lost among the foliage and try cloning out the main leaf that hangs over the bird, obscuring some of that glorious plumage. Catching birds that are on the move is a tough ask, well done you!

Wow...he is sure colorful! And I suppose he hangs around all those bright reds for camoflauge. I wonder how many shots of empty plants and vines you took! Plenty, I bet. Nice catch on a difficult subject. Coming in closer, if you don't lose sharpness, would make him better... but I never can get closer successfully. And by the way, I love the Friesian you are using as a logo! (I think that's a Friesian).
