I think a tighter crop will create more prominence for the main flowers. Some of the background could be rendered out of focus as well, to better accentuate the foreground and eliminate much of the fencing.
Ditto. By moving to the left of the red flower then turning a bit to the right you could have brought the pink flower and the bud closer together by foreshortening. It probably would have removed the unattractive fence too.
These are very lovely flowers, but the picture itself doesn't have a clear focal point. I agree with the above comments, that some creative cropping would be good.
