That is a cool view indeed ! Since i only have seen the castle from the ground up, (due to lack of time) i will give this region more time the next time i visit.

A very beautiful viewpoint. It's nice to comment on a fellow Louisianan.....I love this photo, the only thing I do wish the sky wasn't as washed out looking. I know sometimes that can't be helped, because it truly looks like that. But maybe you can see if one of your programs could sharpen it up a bit. But, oh my, it looks as tho you were literally up in a treetop to take this photo..its very good indeed. Verena

wonderfull country u have, i've to germany be4 i really love but, i didn't went to the south it was always in hamburg, hanover, frankfurt, i heard alot about munich but never been there i wish i could. thanks for sharign this great picture, i saved it. :)

i love this photo. there was a point in the castle that offered the same view, but through a window. this is such a great shot. king ludwig had one helluva view! :)

Yes this is a very nice view indeed. It is the start of the northern part of the central alps. Did you also made it to the castle of "crazy ludwig" ? hehehe what a fairytail castle that is. It stood model for Disneyland Florida.
