This is an image of a cemetery in the old Jewish ghetto of Prague. It was one of the saddest sights I've ever seen. The Christians of the city allowed Prague's thousands of Jews to live within a neighborhood only the size of a few square blocks, thus forcing thousands of Czech Jews to be buried on top of each other in these graves.

Aw it's so sad. It looks so forgotten and ignored. Thanks for sharing the bits of hiistorical information.

Another sad trace of man's inhumanity to man. It's easy to look for beauty and hard to face truth.

This is a nice image of a cematary that even dates back to 15th century. When i was here, there where somany tourists waiting to go inside that i gave it a miss.
I was only 1 day in Prague during my holliday last summer, and there was so much to see, so i had to make choices. Maybe i will return to this old city again, but then with some more time on my hands ! Thanks for this posting !
