Cromwell, Connecticut, USA. SUnday morning, five deer stopped in the yard to munch on some arborvitae before moving on to the woods. I thought they were the culprits that ate the apples off our front porch Christmas decorations. Later, I saw a squirrel scampering across the yard with one of the last apples in its mouth. Today, the apples were replaced and sprayed with a concoction of boiled onion, cayenne pepper, jalapeņo pepper, and paprika. The little rodent won't touch them now! But, I digress. This was shot through the window. When I opened the door, the deer trotted off to the woods. Enjoy!

Remind me not to visit your place on Halloween if you're handing out candy apples.
A lovely couple of young ladies over visiting your gardens Thad. I like the softness in the photo. Lovely colours and details in the scene.

Wonderful image, Mr. Thad, especially through a window! When I see deer I'm in my car and by the time I can stop and pick up my camera they're usually in the next county...

'I' .. wouldn't touch them either with that concoction!

They look a bit timid, and not bothered by the photographer

Nice capture of the two through the window Thad. They are hungry and on the search at this time of the year.
