Nice shot Luc, and using the tree for a frame gives good perspective. I live right at the inland end of this river where Lake Ontario flows into the St Laurence, and it sure isn't that wide here.
The shot could benefit from a bit more contrast in that nice lighting, as there's much more detail and tonal separation than shows in the the copy I downloaded.

Nice shot, Luc. However the horizon is right in the middle of the frame. Next time have EITHER more foreground OR more sky. I hope this helps you!!
