After spraying these veggies with vegitable oil, I noticed a few reflections, so I thought this would make a real fun shot! What do you think? I will resort to just about anything, in the absence of those flowers! The larger screen flatters these little fellas! Thank you, Marilyn

These veggies are shining bright, very creative work here Marilyn, love the bright colors against the snow and the way these were taken worked out great. Nicely done work here, two thumbs on this from me ;)

Marilyn this is marvelous!! I know what you mean about taking any photo opportunity, I'm in the same boat...lol! Wonderful colors and contrast and just adore the lighting...excellent job and top vote for this!!

Gosh... what have you done to those veggies, Marilyn ??? They look like laquered with a clear coat and polished... that's really amazing. Well... I hope they are not... they look quite tasty though and the snow will keep them fresh and full of vitamins. It's a great photo, I really like it because it is different and technically very good. Thanks for sharing this with us...

I certainly do like the shine on the vegies. They looks like glass or shiny plastic. I wish if there was more light on them thats all. That will make the image more balanced in lighting.

How wonderful and unique this is? Well, it tops out for both! What a great idea and I love the composition and great crispness accentuated by the snow. Would make a great add for frozen veggies although they are never this crisp. Great job Marilyn! Taking my third look at it full size, I begin to wonder how long they were actually sitting out there on the railing? And, did you spritz them with water continuously to get that nice glazed look they have? Questions, questions provide answers and future inspiration;-0

I like this very much, LOVE those brilliant colours, and your putting them on the ledge in the snow, well, thats a great idea. I only wish those parts of trees were not hovering over the whole thing...I love the glossiness, and Im glad you are doing all sorts of stuff until the flowers come peeking out I saw my first daffodils today at a neighbors...

Oh Marilyn...what a wonderfully unique still life you have created here. I love how you use nature as your best friend in photographing your loyal subjects! I wish those veggies looked as good and shiny and fresh in my grocery store as they do here! They look like they are just "hanging out" on the railing waiting for their mistress to summon them to the kitchen for "the cooking"......this gets very high point from me for the creativity and the composition. It also makes a conversational desktop! Yummy too...
