Hi to you all, can you imagine folks, Marilyn discovered a bee that likes pink! Can you ever imagine! We should get along just fine! I'll have to say that a few of these little guys did catch my attention though, as I was up pretty close when a couple of them threathened my life! LOL! For those who have allergies, I certainly don't mean my humor for you, and am sorry! I just wanted to report my many close calls today, to those who might have imagined me in that situation and would have had fun with it, and I know of a few! LOL! It was fun though, you guys! LOL! Marilyn

Well, I never...you've found a bee mate...pink mate..well, whatever..I'm glad you were there to capture him so well. I am one of the allergic unfortunates, and I'm not offended at all. I'll just leave the dangerous work to you bravehearts. I love this macro, Marilyn. It's eye poppingly clear and so close that everything you'd want to see is there, and yet it's far enough away that I don't feel I am able to examine every piece of anatomy !!! Sometimes, that can detract from a presentation as lovely as this one. The opened blossoms on this flower in juxtapostion to the unopened ones add an air of expectancy here as there are many things happening. The background is very lovely with the touch of blue off to the right and the very faded out parts right behind the subject flower and bee. It's a wonderful capture, Marilyn, and I wish I had the words to better describe how much I like this pic...thanks :)PJ

I feel like the bee is going to raise it's head and say "ahhh" after taking in the scent of these flowers. What a great capture!

Hay Marilyn. Its a lovely image. The bee suits very well among that bunch of pinks. I wonder how he choose the right flower when there is so much nice ones around. Its same as beeing the only guy in a girl school lol.

So you do have the big beautiful bumble bees where you live. A truely wonderful and beautiful capture. Nice composition and good depth of field. Fall is near so enjoy these little friends before the cold returns. Great job.

This is truly incredible Marinlyn. Everything from the Bubble Bee in the center, to the flowery landscape around it. The range of colors, framing, angle and use of focus is brilliant. Keep up the great work, top marks.

Good Morning Marilyn, I got up a little early so I could take a look for a couple new images for my computers when to my wandering eye, here was this image on the Home page. I took one look and put it on my laptop for the rest of this week.
Very good depth of field, selection of an eye grabbing subject and excellent presentation of both.
If this ever shows-up in my voting booth it will definitely receive a 10.
