On the day this photo was taken...there was a slight misty rain...lighting was questionable...and the tree had already displayed it's earlier pristine blossoms...In other words...I was a little late for shooting...but I was bent on taking a few shots...which I intend to present later...This tree is in a garden belonging to a friend...and she wished to have me see what I could do?...it was a most beautiful of Dogwoods...I just loved it! So.......... Thank you and please enjoy... Marilyn

They look as though they are opening their faces to the gentle rain- a lovely atmosphere is created here and the water drops hanging are the finishing touch.

Oh Marilyn! Dogwoods are the most precious and gentle little trees, and you captured this perfectly. And I'm so glad you did.

Hi Marilyn, There are two large Dogwood trees here in the yard.I havn`t been able to get a photo anywhere near as good as this.The ones here are white, your photo of these pink ones are so good.A beautiful photo,,Tom
