I hope that you do not view my forthcoming words as a slight against your work here ... I am interested in what the visual impact would be with a less centered focal point of visual interest.

The textures and patterns and shapes that you have incoporated are very nice. Simply, besides the star of your piece here ... I would like to see more of, that's all. In fact, I think the rest of your composition is strong enough to be able to stand on their own merits. As always ... just some thoughts, some suggestions ... possibly for future endeavours.

The semi-concentric circles at play ... do convey a sense of motion ... of uplifting the leaf itself ... to where? I am not sure, and don't really want to guess ... I just want to enjoy this one.

Thanks for sharing your talent and tribute to your friend. Powerful in design, colour palette and concept and then, execution of ... very nice work here.

Very nice. I like the rich red color. I agree that the leaf could be off center to add more interest, but overall I really like it.

Lovely and warm shades of red, I like the short of swiriling effect but I agree about the leaf being better off center too. Anyway, it's an image I like a lot and totally gives me the fall feeling. Nicely done

Ooo... I like. Nice, rich colors, pretty patterns and textures, subtle symbolism... The "swirling" effect resembles some kind of vortex to me -- so the centering works. I really like the texture you've added to the leaf itself. Pretty!

Hey Siavash, This is just great. I love the ripples and the red background. I'll put it on my desktop whenever I get angry!!!! Fantastic job. One question: who is Silverstein?
