The silhouette is very lovely with the intricate branches stitched across the smooth colors of the sky. It's a good choice of subjects. Where I thought it can be improved was in colors. I downloaded it and opened it using Irfanview (freeware - download.com), and pushed both the red and blue up 20% then raised the contrast pretty high, and got a very nice result with lots of color instead of the yellows that are in the original. Try it and see what you think.
Regmar, I tried as suggested - I like the result, but to me it feels slightly fake (perhaps because it is lol :P), I tend not to like editing the photos much, beyond a little bit of cropping and glare correction. Can I ask what contrast levels you used? I found I liked the colours more at the higher levels, but then the top left corner of the image was far too dark. Cheers :)
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
