Thank you Teresa, Mary and Joost. Should have called it terminal velocity...the drops of water get blurrier as they get to the bottom of the image where they have picked up speed.:-)
Great stuff. Love the angle. Worth the trouble IMHO. ^_^ How did you postprocess this? If it's rather untouched I can send you my version of color correction... (It's also important that you had no special whitebalance adjustments, but it doesn't look like that.) I thought it's better that you can see for yourself if you think it's worth the trouble. :) In stead of just taking my word for it. ^_^
this is a the yummiest photo of urs methinks,(but if i look at all of ur work i in the folio i wouldnt be able to pick one, u have so many good uns) anyhoo more about this one: this is wicked. i like it v much. thanx for the capture : D
Very nice work Darryl. You always go the extra mile to achieve your goals.Based on my view you have accomplished your goal and then some.

I like the angle you shot the picture at... I need to start doing that. Usually pictures that are shot from bird's-eye-view or ant's-eye-view don't look good on a desktop...you know what I mean? You shoot great photos!
Thank for the comment Sam! I really think it depends on the individual whether a certain image makes a good desktop. One mans junk is another mans riches! Usually a photo is more appealing if it is shot from an angle other than just standing...is that what you mean?

how do you see these things mayne!? like the concept, wish all of the water was as sharp as the center one and the background to be smooth but thats unavoidable. and the spiny things that the waters coming off of. thats cool.
Got this one in voting booth too, I don't know why I missed it, while doing my routine check on "new images". Great shot, really well done, such creative point of view.
