Agree with bethoid...Just waking up in a charmed-forest..raising your head up from the mud covered with autumn leafs...Really amazing...i really like it a lot 10/10... ;)
"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts." Bertrand Russell
So where's the unicorn? This looks like an enchanted forest, with the mists rolling in. Was looking for the fairies and unicorns. Great job. Really conveys a mood.
Arthur Rackham! Of course! Remember his illustrations of Peter Gynt? Elves, goblins, gnarled tree roots, parched ivory light. Great photograph. Thank you!
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is a society, where none intrudes,
By the deep Sea, and music in its roar,
I love not man less, but Nature more
--Lord Byron
That photo is so magical. The tree up close in the foreground, and the leaves on the forest floor. and then the irridescent glow in the background. Amazing.
Just want to say this picture is amazing, everytime i put up a new background on my computer i switch it back to this one in 15 minutes. Keep up the good work.
Excellent work. This really does have a great feel to it, but I wouldn't go so far as to decribe the filter as melancholy. :-) It is very soft, it conveys a warm feeling, and it makes me feel fuzzy. Looking at it, I wish life wasn't so busy so I could stop and enjoy it. I am pretty sure I used to have this as my desktop for a long time a while back, if not thise than one very similar to it, but I am surprised that I had not voted or commented yet, so maybe it was a different one... Either way, excellent job, I give it a 10, it has now been favoritized, and I wait for more! :-)
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
An eerily beautiful image. The filter lends a foreboding quality to it. Perhaps it's the darkening of the photos edges enhancing the feeling that something lurks beyond...
Like the very best photographs (IMO), it seriously activates the viewers imagination.
hells teeth i never though id get to the end of the comments to write my own! :-) Im sure there is nothing else i can say that hasnt been said, but i love it! lol!
