Just a local gargoyle. You cant see them, but there are spikes on his head to keep the birds from sitting on him.

The gargoyle is fine, but I find the building to be more interesting. Love the brown against that clear blue sky, do you have more photos, from different angles, maybe losing the gargoyle?

sometimes, as a tourist, you are left shooting a scene in less than desirable circumstances, distance, angle, time of day .. etc ... this appears to be one of those times. But, if this is your house ;o) then maybe you could crawl out your sisters window (don't look down) .. and catburgler your way over to a better angle
because gargoyles are cool and so are female catburglers

Lovely image. I do like the angle at which this picture was taken but would also love to see it at another angle just to see more of the building and the gargoyle. Thanks for sharing this with us.
