These horsies look a bit neglected to me...their manes and hair looks pretty unkempt..Poor things.. I love horses so much and I am sad that people sometimes dont look after them. They are "pets" and often people just dont do much with them anymore, other than feed them and look at them. Maybe they were afraid of you. I hope not. Am glad you took the photo tho...maybe it made them feel better somehow...thanx for the shot..

Horses love attention no matter what condition they are in. They are highly curious and love human hands. On the other side of things.. these guys have been taken care of, the mane of the chestnut on the right.. has the "fuzzies" on top of it, which means it was clipped not too long ago. Second, they all have winter coats, and while they are filthy, i can tell you from experience with my own horse... that no matter how hard you try, a horse will find the MUDDIEST spot in the whole field to roll in... they love it.. it feels really good to them for some reason. While the pasture might not be the greatest, these guys are taken care of it appears so no worries Verenabloo. Anyways.. now that i've babbled.. great shot.
