i got this one today. it was standing on the limb of the tree just like any normal bird. usually it is upside down or climbing straight up a limb.

Now you have me asking a question... Is there such a thing as a normal nuthatch? OK, I was joking...those talons are definitely made for climbing and clinging! Nice closeup!

What a cute little bird. The background color really brings out the blue in his feathers, when I fullsize it though its a little blurry along the edges.
