he slowed down enough to get this picture. shutter speed is not the only thing to consider when you take your pictures. some captures are meant to be softer because of the situation they are in.
If/when I get set up to photograph birds at my bird feeder (or in the tree waiting in line), I'm going to consider myself lucky if I shoot the bird and not the empty branch! I find it wonderful the way your birds tend to perch on complementary wood tones! The slate blue of this pretty nuthatch works well with the deep maroon tones of the old bark.
