Hi Mike...Love this little tufted titmouse feathered friend of yours. I applaud your efforts at trying to demonstrate how tough it is for a little guy like this to hang on in 50MPH winds, but sadly, the camera lens doesn't demonstrate the wind effect here. This shows up as an out of focus image full of grain (noise). I have tried to shoot birds in windy conditions before with a weighted tripod and missed every shot due to the motion of the wind shaking the camera. Here, I don't know if it was the wind shaking you ,the camera or the bird, but, as stated, all that appears is a rough looking little guy.
Thanks for trying....get a tripod and weight it down with a tube sock filled with beans and drape it over the middle. See if that helps you!! Happy shooting!!
Happy New Year :=)
you know, someone wrote me about this being out of focus and scratchy and such, and i wrote back that it wasn't.
BY DERND it IS.
sorry for telling you it wasn't. (itwasn't in my little lab)
I think it might have been you mimi. i'm sorry.
