Hi Mike, strange how the website asked me to comment on one of your shots the same day you commented on one of mine! :) I think you have a similar aesthetic to me - you like strong contrast with darker elements in a shot, it shows up in this shot but also in your gallery. I reckon a light dodging of both the dark foliage at middle right and on the actual fence post, to bring out a few more details would lift it just that bit. The post is the centre of the image but it's a bit dark, so the eye is drawn then but then cannot grasp details easily. You've composed the shot perfectly to make the post the place the eye naturally falls. Nice work.
