Hi Mimi, you know this beautiful lemon yellow, is stunning wrapped in the arms of those deep greens, very attractive! I also appreciate the partial sun shining through the petals, which always enhances and adds to the personality of the flower, prompting us to view the subject with a different perspective, I think! At any rate, the image is beautiful Mim, and I really like it, as you did your typical job of gentle photography, the feminine touch which nearly always appeals in my book! You were fortunate to not get all the rains we've had here in the Northeast. It's not bad enough that the growing season isn't long, but it was hard to get started with very few days of sun. You however have had a lot of success it appears and can now take all those gorgeous shots without having to go far to find such beautiful subjects. Cindy
