Having had LIFE show up at my house pounding on the door for the past 2 months, I am ever so happy to be posting again. I took a short side trip to our botanical gardens here in Missouri the other day and thought I would take everyone along for a short tour :) Image shot with hubby's new Pentax K100D camera (boy did I have fun;=) The blue orb is hand blown Chihuly Glass that was on exhibit last year and the gardens bought some for us to enjoy all the time. Critiques welcomed and encouraged.

Oh, I love the colors in here all at once. That orb is gorgeous and looks fantastic floating amidst the wonderful reflections in the water. Seems like a great camera.

The only thing this shot lacks is a perspective that lets me know the size of what we're looking at. A lovely ensemble of sculpture and glass, well shot Mimi. It reminds me of lily pads.

I love the glass and the reflection. Your lighting, color and exposure are excellent. I'm not too crazy about the leaves or whatever they are behind - hey're a bit of a distraction and the colors clash to me. anne :-)

There are tons of websites for uploading snapshots - photos of your neice, back yard, etc. "Caedes Man" did not start this website for that purpose. His intent was to offer a venue for folks to share artistic images that could be used as desktop backgrounds. Does anyone really want an out of focus shot of a dog for a desktop background? probably not. Let's share the good stuff and help others by telling them what's good or how to improve an image. We could all make Caedes a great site for everyone and use those other places for the snapshot sharing. A first rate family snap sharing website is www.easysite.com.
