A Hibiscus flower. I tried to capture the "veins" on the flower's petals and the kinda of velvetness of the pink petals.The yellow and black against the pink also were a great contrast to me. Thanx Auline for helping me with the name there.

Beautiful color Marietha. The focus seems a bit off to me. I don't know where you were 'aiming' for, but it appears that you captured the left lower corner in your focal range.This flower has great potential for photogrpahers. I agree that the contrasting colors look good together. Keep shooting that camera and posting. Thank you :)

Hi Marietha, this is very beautiful indeed! It is interesting because my favorite color is pink, so I would naturally like this image, smiling!
