Reedbuck. taken in the Kruger National Park - South Africa. He just wouldn't look at me.. :( Hope you enjoy him. I was so excited to show you all this picture, that I posted the wrong name with it. My husband is killing himself laughing, cos I made such a huge mistake. Sorry all .. this is a Reedbuck.. and not an Impala. *blush*

This is a fantastic photo, how you got him to stand still long enough for the shot is amazing, no matter he would not look at. Well done and thanks for sharing !!!

Hey Marietha,

Very nice pic. The frame looks familiar. So this is a South African Chevrolet. A 2 seater at that. Good work.

Nope, something else sure has his attention. His girlfriend must be over there. Good pose as he mouths the grass. Good capture of the detail of his hair.

Really, really nice detail and clarity on this one.

The DOF? I think is perfect. I love how the diffused background sets off your subject matter. Outstanding.

I hope this comes across well enough ... I was most surprised at the quality, given your modesty. This is very good.

Caveats? Oh, but a small one. And truly I think with the addition of the framing you have minimized this aspect. However, placing your subject centrally? Some more visual interest, according to the 'rules,' might be created with an offset placement. And I offer that up as food for thought. I really don't mind it all given the superb shot you have here.

Ohhh ... I can't wait to see more. :o) (Really nice work.)

Maybe if you had some food to offer, he/she would have looked at you. Great shot and into my favorites.
