Using a few pics i took from the local area of some stone work & a flower as seen here. the stone work is from a church doorway, not really sure what the flower is...a few layers & some manips & i have the start of a series. see ver. 01 here. hope u like :~)

Wow...I love this. The flower(I don't know what it is either) looks great with the directly head-on shot, and the stoneworks works really good as a background. I really don't see anything I dislike. Great job, high marks from me.

The textures of the soft petals of the climatis and the rough stone came out well together and I love the effect on the flowers center. That's a great looking piece of rock. Almost looks like sea sponge. With all it's character it's as organic as the flower.

nice..indeed..
i'm surprised there are so few comments, i really like this one. it would be nice using the b/w technique, but the sepia tones choice was a full guess. the background looks very nice and brings out the focus on the beautiful flower.. its petals make a wonderful contrast with the rest of the image.. the textures are smooth and the whole flower fits perfectly in this duet :)

i like the idea :) thank you for sharing it with us..

I really like this. I think the sepia adds a level of mystique to the bloom and gives the background a tricky texture.Great presentation
