this was taken a wee while ago at the Bristol Zoo. as far as i remember its a green iguana, anyone think its another type feel free to correct me :~) hope u like

So strange how these are related to snakes..and I like the lizard family so much more! I love the green on this..aNd he looks so ponderous!! VERY nice!!

Love the monochromatic look, the skin texture and wonderful eye....nice composition with the front foot showing....great image.

That's not a Green Iguana. That's a Damn Cool Green Iguana! :P Actually it looks a bit different from the last time I looked at an image of an iguana. Could be the angle I guess, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm loving everything I see in this shot. Great angle and super placement of the subject. Did you funk up the colors or was the lighting this cool to begin with?

Thanx folks. i took this pic ages ago at the Bristol Zoo, & i did adjust the colours slightly, but the green is not far off the green after the changes.the only other change was a colour burn on the left behind the crest of the the iguana's head. there was a flare/reflection of the glass.thanx for the comments :~)
