Gold Orb spiders at Antelope Island, Great Salt Lake, Utah. Male has to wait while mating for the female to be distracted by eating a bug or he becomes the bug. Check out Youtube on how strong these webs are.

These are beautiful spiders...I used to see them more often in my garden. I wonder if a little saturation would enhance the image? It's a good capture, at any rate.
