Your cat looks so dignified!
I do think the flash detracts from the quality of this image. I am not sure what kind of post processing experience you have but either toning down the highlights or shooting without a flash would make this even better.

good animal shot nice looking-up angle, the cat looks more dignified than if it wouldve been taken form higher up

The composition of the picture ist good, the cat looks cute, but the flash light destroys the mood. So some areas are overexposed.
