This is a macro taken with an inversed 50mm lens hand-held in front of my Oly E500 (with the Oly lens on, this can be done both with or without a lens attached to the body). A nice subject (dead rose), plus nice light, plus a very shallow DOF, plus a bit of blurring (hand held :)), and this came out. I hope you guys like it. (The only edits are a bit of saturation and levelling, btw.)

I like, I like. Definitely on the abstract side. The strongest points besides the interesting shapes is the colors and lighting. That pretty much sums it up as a very nice piece. ;) What could have been made different is perhaps a slightly different plane of focussing (but I believe you hit the right spot here) but this, I imagine, could be a matter of some debate... ^_^
