First, very nice and natural colours and well-focused. Exposure is good, as I do like the blur on the flowing water.
Caveats? If I may?
Upon first glance I see three competing areas, in terms of physical size. That of the stoney pathway/lookout, the falls themselves and then that of the shore area to the right (this perspective). It could be argued that the stoney pathway/lookout is more than it's third in this creative equation. Which segues to a suggestion (or two?) for you, and in my humble opinion of course.
Shift in camera position, such that the falls becomes the more predominant focal subject. Perhaps, even lower and closer to the stones that form the perimeter of the path/lookout.
Simply put, the pathway/lookout is not near as intriguing visually ... as compared to that of the falls, or even the one visible ... or more so ... shoreline.
If you could figure out the camera position to maintain the fact that the falls is nicely composed and positioned within frame... what with it entering from the top left and offset from midpoint ... think you could kick this one up a couple of notches.
That said, nice work overall. Really.
It is a pleasant scene/setting to view and you did a very good job on the technical side of things. :o)
thanks for the input, I actually just figured out how to make the water look this way. There are more photos of this series that do fit most of the suggestions, I wasnt able to get all of the walkway out of the frame, as you lost the upper part of the falls through the flora, the trees are abundant here.
I think Les has offered you much to ponder. With his critical eye, his advice has been helpful to many. You accomplished well the desired moving water effect. Best wishes.
spectacular shot! nice directional movement, i love the flow of the water. colors are nice too. i love waterfalls and this one is really great, I'd like to visit it! thanks for sharing!
