Me messing around with MBFLite and GIMP for the first time. I'm pleased with the result.

Beautiful work in MBF. I'm not always keen on textures like this, but I think it works well here to smooth the jaggedness one usually sees in MBFLite designs. Actually, I can't tell if it doing that or not so if it is, it works very well!

I find the main design just a little dark or lacking in intensity of colour, but only a little and it could be my monitor. I would really like to see this without the lens flare in the top left. I think it looks a bit out of place and is a bit distracting all on its own. Either it needs more of a background scene or less - I think either might work well but that just this one element doesn't seem very effective. This is just my view, of course. I'm sure others will disagree. Anyway, it still looks very good as it is - I especially like the clear and intricate details and the way the curves spiral off into nothingness.

Hi Nicki
A fine image I don't understand the tech talk much, but I'm a fundemental photographer only. One practical suggestion 2 u digital brigate such as yourself (1200x900) is: Try 2 crop/stretch your image so it will fill modern monitor frames, remember Caedes is a wallpaper download site.

Lifes around said the 35 millimetre cameraman. Tip of the day get ahead, and go widescreen 1440 x 900 / 1200 x 900 don't fit the monitors!!

Thank you for the great critisisms! You both have very valid points, and I'll take both into consideration on future projects. :)
