I've been vacationing near Zion National Park. This image was inspired by a piece of Navajo jewelry I saw in a gift shop the other day. The jewels represent earth, sky, fire, and water. The background represents the crucible of creation - shaped like a day lily opening to the universe. Hope you enjoy.

And I get to be first!..yayyy....Oh Nathan..this is fantastic !! The idea behind the colours representing fire/water/earth/sky...all creation is just wonderfully shown here..And I love how you have part of your design going across the framing line. I also like the round corners of the frame...it softens and makes the whole image look more elegant..which is what the whole thing is...elegant! Thank you Nathan....I know you are having a nice time..and its very kind of you to post such a lovely creation...thank you and I wish you all the best for this new year that is fast approaching....hugs to you and yours!!

This is drop-dead gorgeaus Nathan. I am half Cherokee Indian & when I see work like this, it runs chills up & down my spine. I love the colors here and of course, what they represent. I like the restraint you used in this creation. It really adds some class to an already classy image. The gold you used, well, that is the ultimate pretty :)
I remember my recent visit to Zion...I left there a different person. I was awed by the beauty that surrounded me. Thank you for this image. It is downloaded to my favorites folder on my harddrive so I can enjoy it as much as I want, plus it is my new desktop :~)

You've shared your secrets in your jewel tutorial, I'd like to see one on your filligree work. I love this one for its minimal style and razor sharp sweep.

I don't know what to say Nathan. You are incredibly gifted and my changer is loaded with your images. To say its a 10 would be redundent.
