I looked at your other upload first...I tend to go through things backwards...left-handed thing, I think..I digress from this colorful experiment. I guess I would have to be in the correct frame of mind for either one of them. This would be a morning view for me while the other is more of a night, mellowing mood setter..both lovely..both appreciated.
Well... I 'm not a fan of pink. But that little piece in the upper left corner is gorgeous. And the fragment at the very bottom in the middle, with the pastels. Overall, pretty.
On closer inspection, they're still both gorgeous. I like the deep colours in this one though I like pastels, too. I seem to be able to see more details in _this_ one, if anything. Could be _my_ monitor and/or eyes, mind.
They remind me of an aerial view of somewhere - must be a magical land, by the look of it. There's a lot of mist on the mountains, though, which does make it a bit difficult to pick out the details and makes me want to go lower so I can see more of the countryside.
Gorgeous color offerings Nathan, however...yup there's a however, sorry. The colors seem flat, I don't know how else to describe it other than flat to the eye. They're vivid and robust, but, come across a different way to the eye. Does that make sense?
You just keep playin' as it's always a breathe of fresh air to see your works!!
Thanks, everyone. Hottrockin - do you mean flat as in 2D? or dull? Probably 2D - the colors are anything but dull - I almost didn't post it because they were too bright. :) Anyway, I was trying to flatten the image in that manner - and just focus on color.
Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I do not get to your pictures as soon as you post them, I apologize. I try. Also if I do not respond for awhile it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it just means I'm really tied up with life.
