My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Log in.. go to the New Images galleries.. and this image is waiting for my monitor.
:o)
Very nice, Nathan.
Good good to 'see' you once again. And I trust that my words here find you and yours doing well.
That said.. and back to your image..
The first thought that came to mind, and without having had the benefit of reading your accompanying narrative, was.. "someone did an excellent masking job".
Using the snow to backlight your subject was a great idea. Save you some time in the editing chair.
The composition is strong. The colours are natural. Detail and clarity are wonderful.
And that lil' pop of blue peeking in from below.. really adds to the colour palette/contrasts.
That said..
+favs for me.
And.. but, of course.. thanks for sharing this one with us.
Gorgeous shot of the rose Nathan - it's so amazing that the rose is still thriving - you certainly made good use of the snow as a backdrop - Excellent!!!:-):-):-)
