The holly tree has a long Christmas tradition, probably because they keep their leaves all winter even in cold climates. Good capture of this specimen.

What a gorgeous specimen of a holly tree. I've only seen them bush sized, so this is quite a sight for me. I take it from you comment that it's illegal to cut them down in Portugal? Well, at least you can take pics of them and this one is a very nicely taken photo :)PJ
