I did not see this image in the contest gallery, which is a shame as it could have been a real contender. The water is dark and mysterious, the horizon is swallowed up, the clouds foreboding. All in all a very chilling and empty image. I was going to comment about he noise in the sky, but it, and the horizon, give the sky a dystopian monochromatic water colour effect. Nicely soulless, and indeed empty.

At first when viewing this photo, I wanted to see it in color. Now that I know you are entering it in the "Emptiness" contest, I think you have done a really splendid job! I can totally see where you are coming from. You should be proud of this photo! Thank you for sharing
