43.8 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.
It's all real and untouched. It was late afternoon, with the sun streaming in through a window onto my brand new chess set. It looked reasonably cool in real life, but my camera tended to ignore any shapes not directly under the light ... in this case, I'm not complaining!

The King and Queen are on the wrong squares!
Remember, the Queen goes on its own color: The black queen on the black square, and the white queen on the white square. Of course, I'm assuming the foggier glass pieces on the top of the picture are black.
That G2 pawn looks a little anxious to get into battle. :P

Merde! Not that I'm sure whether it's the transparent or the foggy pieces that are supposed to be black.

Excellent lighting! I especially love how the upper pieces still stand out and contrast against the blackness in the back.

Very good and original shot,though I must say the chess pieces helped a lot towards creating the picture in that they are transperent. Anyway nice work.
