The background on this image is quite a bit different than we usually see Phil. It really adds depth and drama to your 'cleaned up and dressed up' image. I am always awed by the site of the space station. It is difficult for me to wrap my mind around the fact that humans are living there. Seeing them go overhead last month or so as bright spots in the sky was another thrill for me.
You did your usual stellar job of providing me with an excellent photo for my 'Phil's space gallery' as well as educational material (hopefully) for all the grandkids. Once again, many thanks for all you do to bring these images to me :=)

Thanks Mimi – this will most likely be one of my final image posts though as I am deep in the process of migrating to another country and free time is getting really thin on the ground. Thanks for your consistent support in the past – it has been much appreciated :-)

I would be grateful if someone else took up the torch for maintaining the Space galleries though as I still think they make for some of the most dramatic desktop images.

Hi Phil, my 5 year old grandson has reviewed all all of your space images and critiqued many of the...quite accurately too I might add. We didn't leave many comments because granny is tired :)
Anyway, out of all of the images, he has picked this as his very favorites.
Garrett's personal message to you is: "thank you for letting me see all of these."

Hope your visit with your brothers is a blast...see you on the flip side my friend!!
