A second shot of the successful liftoff of the Expedition 18 crew onboard a Soyuz spacecraft at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

This one is taken much closer and gives a much higher level of detail and drama. Once again, tweaked in CS3 and Tiffen DFX.

Whoa baby.....long and lean is this machine!!!
I love the way one can see the launching towers falling away.
Your position as 'clean-up' man suits you well Phil.
Another superb job of tweaking an image for us to enjoy as well as continuing the education of my grandchildren :=)
