Astronaut Steve Swanson, STS-119 mission specialist, participates in the mission's first EVA to deploy the final solar array for the station. The panels were successfully deployed yesterday and provide the ISS with an acre of solar panels in total, enough to both expand the crew compliment and provide power for all the remaining modules to be added over the next eight construction missions to complete the ISS.
