I took this shot in Rocky Mountain National Park while on a gorgeous hike. I don't know if the trees in the foreground add to the image or take away from it... tell me what you think.
Well you managed to get excellent DOF so I don't think that the trees in the front detract, but that is such an amazing composition going on behind them, that if they were cloned out or maybe just the one on the left up to the top of the distant mountain so that would be clearly seen, it might improve this.
If you know how to clone, I'd give it a whirl :) a 10 from me in the voting booth if they ask my opinion there !!

Hey Hannah,
First, I need to point out what a cracking shot you have managed here, (~8
Beautiful composition, fascinating curves and colors that fit together so well, I absolutely love it, 8~)
About distracting elements, I don't think the tree in front adds, but it doesn't distract that much either, what you could try to crop out though are the branches top right, and the tree bottom left, and perhaps the people in the back, they are very small, but still, they distract from the landscape, and more importantly, the title, (~8
Lovely done,
Thanks for sharing

PS; I second that 10; now off to the VB, wish me luck(~8
