Found this little guy wrapped around a stick in a pond at a friends house. The snake is only about three inces long. Just a little guy, he can't be more than a few days old.
Althought I usually like your use of a short depth of field, I think I would like to see the entire snake in focus in this photo, even tho it brings attention to the head. Other than that, quite striking, I like the saturation of the colors and the detail in the obviously very small snake. Good shot.
as Ron would say...."Wicked..." This is a fanstastic shot. I personally love the little (and big guys). Always wanted one when I was younger (Ball Python)...Mom wouldnt allow it though... :-(
The vivd colors in all of your photos amaze me. That's part of what makes your gallery so great...the other being your eye for a great shot. ; )
Very cool and love the name...you should call him Draco...looks sneaky enough to be one and I have a snake about 4ft in size this one is so cute though
This is like my dream shot Michael i'm like so jealous...I've just never ran across a snake before and around here they're usually rattlesnakes so most people dont stand around to find the best angle lol...great shot again :)

Awwww...he is sooo incredibly beautiful ^_^
I'm a huge fan of snakes...and actually have one myself - a pueblan milksnake named Nyoka.
Excellent image, Michael...10/10...and straight into my faves :D
Well done!
