A spring tulip at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival located near Mount Vernon Washington This photograph was taken in the Roosengaarde gardens. One of the largest cut tulip and bulb producers in the area.
Superb as always, Michael, and the muted background (don't know the proper term for how you did that) really showcases the lovely tulip as the focal point. 10/10 and just wish I could vote higher for this beauty. :)
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
very eye catching. love it. colors are just fabulous. not too much in flowers shot but this one is awesome. great compo and capture. thanks for showing us time and time again how nature can be beautiful!^^
I love the slight droop in the petals, it lets you see the veining in both sides and keeps the center slightly hidden. The focus and colors of the background are perfect.
What a beautifully colored tulip. Love the two-toned...the background muted flowers do a great job of allowing this beauty to "pop" out! Good capture Michael. Thank you :))
Absolutely fabulous. Lovely capture of these beautiful flowers, nice clear image. Like that the background does not take away focus on these pretty little things. Fabulous colors. Great work.

Simply stunning shot Michael, I bow to your expertise and beautiful work. I think these are "Anemones" which belong to the buttercup family. Cheers Al.
The beer urges me on, the bewitching beer, which sets even a wise man to singing and to laughing gently and rouses him up to dance and brings forth words which were better unspoken.

Gorgeous colors. Great depth of field. Good composition. I like how you have the closes flower in good focus, the flower behind it in partial focus and the rest blurred. It makes a nice background and good perspective. Lovely.
Tulip? It is an Anemone Coronaria! Fantastic Photo, Beautifully presented - a treasure, but Tulips were on the next Stand! Lovely work, Michael, but check on Flowers next time, please!
