It was a cold day in Yellowstone and this young coyote didn't seem to mind too much about having his portrait done. I exhaled on the front of my lens and waited for the moisture to evaporate just enough to provide me with the amount of soft focus I wanted.

Michael you have absolutely amazing style and your technique's are soo clever! I'm gonna have go through all the technique's you've mentioned and make a little notepad with them on there so when I'm in a situation that I can use them I'll have a nice reference chart handy ;) Amazing shot! thanks for sharing :)

you really do miss seeing these animals when they leave your area. i used to see them all the time. love the thirds capture because of the way that the coyote is looking. just gives the sense of space. cool shot!
