The sun has just illuminated Rattlesnake Mountain, about 15 miles from where I live. This Mountain is over 3000 ft (914 meters) high. It is the tallest treeless Mt. in the US.
Another capture from your magic camera Michael! Wow, the first thing I noticed on this is the vivid colors and how well they contrast with each other. The grass and the mountain are almost identical and with the gorgeous blue sky...well, it is breathtaking. Thank you :))
By the way, this territory reminds me of the Columbia River basin. Is that where Rattlesnake Mountain is? I grew up in The Dalles, La Grande, Hood River, and that general area (my elementary school years).
