This springtime thunderstorm was just getting ready to break over us while photographing in the Palouse area of Eastern Washington. It came on quickly, rained and thundered hard then left just as quickly.
this is truly amazing. such bliss. the clouds create a wonderous feeling about you when you see this. and the foreground also comes up and catches some atttention on the other side.
I want to grab a hold of that green border an just pull myself up and over that lip and go for an afternoon stroll. There is magic in this shot and definately must stay on my screen for a while. Mike, I feel this is your best landscape to date in my eyes. Thanks;-)
Michael, Darryl took the words right out of my mouth/fingers, hehe.
I guess I am going with him.
This is definately my favorite of yours to date. It will be my desktop for a while.

this image is magnificent - I can almost feel the downdraft breeze from those clouds. You have captured the light just right, creating the feeling of anticipation. We sure don't have the vistas here in Ohio to catch anything like this! Wonderful job! ~ Jan

My jaw literally dropped when I saw this photo. Just awesome. The one caveat that I have is the green border. I think it might be better with just black, but that's personal opinion only :)
